The North Texas Alliance is a group that once started as Greater Dallas Region of the National Hispanic Institute, which was started in 2006. Now, we’ve expanded our efforts beyond the Greater Dallas area and are expanding our community within the North Texas region. As we grow, our mission continues to engage Latino youth in leadership opportunities while developing a community investor mindset.
NHI North Texas partners with 20+ high schools within the DFW metroplex to work with the brightest students across the region. These students attend student-led training sessions to prepare them for the leadership programs they will compete in each summer. We believe that the training and participation at NHI’s summer programs develop students with high integrity, professionalism, ethics, and values. We provide life changing learning experiences that develop leadership capacities to better engage in Latino community life.
